That Mosley admitted to using Balco substances. First he denied it, then he recanted and admitted to it saying he didn't KNOW they were steroids he was using. (Courtroom testimony from Conte said that as yet there was no way to test for them leaving them undectable) As with other athletes it has been said that is was made perfectly clear what the substances were and that all the athletes knew what they were doing. This "I didn't know what I was taking" is simply a reply for legal reason's so as not to admit guilt. Marion Jones was involved in a similar situation. The Margarito situation of illegaly wrapped gloves..........well where is the proof? Everyone that does not care for Margarito parrots what another guy here says without the slightest bit of trepidation. If you are using Cottos face as proof it isn't enough. After Cotto lost to Margarito accusations of Margarito using steroids surfaced and were leveled against Antonio with no proof other than the highly favored Cotto had been stopped. I hate cheaters as much or more than anyone here and I personally feel that the consequences are too light for someone PROVEN to be cheating, but to PROVE Margarito was using illegal wraps hasn't been done yet. That being said, Mosley used the perfect game plan last night to take the pressure to Margarito and work the body. He was on top of his game and Margarito was never able to corner Shane because of all the punches in his face. Masterful performance by a great fighter.
I agree wait for the evidence, if Margo was cheating he should be punished and investigated however we should wait for the facts. Fantastic job on SSM part. I admit I was one who picked Margo to beat Mosely on a late stoppage or ud.
I guess if you get caught doing something that isnt enough proof???? For the record hane claimed that his personal trainer gave him the HGH and didnt tell him what it was...And judging from the fact that the personal trainer brought a suit against Shane then later dropped it kinda leans the scales of truth in Shanes favor...My problem with HGH and getting on a fighter for doing it is this...I think that every month a new names comes out of a fighter that has used it...In the last few days several more names have been linked to a guy that supplies HGH headed by Holyfield amoung others..I think that as it all comes out i think that it will be a huge number of the whos who of boxing that will be linked to hgh. Time will tell, and its not really cheating if they all are doing it...Well its still cheating but who is gaining an advantage.
