If Morrison is indeed still HIV positive, this is a travesty.


I don't know what the point of his "comeback" is. He looked AWFUL, and against F-class "opposition" last time out. :nod

What else is Morrison going to do? I doubt he has an education, he is a convicted felon, and I am sure all his money is gone.

Acting maybe? He was in Rocky V, and relative of John Wayne. Other then that he doesnt have any other options but to fight.

 

They say that he never had HIV now. He also fought an MMA bout but disallowed kicks, knees and takedowns.

 

Morrisons just trying to make a buc, if his oppenent agrees to fight him than there should be no problem. Morrison is still a name and could still fight a little bit, I wish him luck.

 

No one found he was still positive for HIV. I wish people would do research before they post.

 

I thought they did find out that someone had seemingly lost the test results, or something was done to hide the test results.

Maybe someone else knows more on this, but I do know something shady went on to keep the test results from being known .

If he's positive for HIV, he shouldn't fight, not boxing or MMA, wheter in the U.S. or anywhere else. That's crazy. Russian roulette.
And you can't compare his situation to Zabs, that's another world. If Zab wants to fight, let him fight, he's healthy and still better than 95% of the welterweights out there.

 

In a magazine article a few months ago here in Australia, Morrison was maintaining he didn't have the virus. He suggested he had A) Beaten 'the disease' or B) was mis-diagnosed in the first place.
Both of those options are implausible, to put it generously.
He did seem in good shape but that should not give him a pass in a contact sport. The fact that he is competing in Mexico and not through a US ratified commision gives a clear answer.

 

Morrison NEEDS to hang up the gloves. For his safety and the safety of others.
