This is so to the point I can't really tell if you're being tongue-in-cheek or earnest. I'll do a quick notes version of events but if you want more details and sources and ****, just ask, I'll do it. WBA Reg = Legal belt WBA Super = Business belt Why = Lennox Lewis vs Michael Grant Charr = Legal champion. Has a legal right/claim to champion status. Legal as in laws not boxing rules, but yes those too. Basically, since Lewis-Grant forced the WBA to take their belt off Lewis for Ruiz, in court forced, the WBA didn't want to strip Lewis, but since that happened the WBA made up a legal title to chuck on to every boxer who sues their way to a title. It was Lennox's idea. It has worked to some degree. It's the IBF who strips HW champions these days. The IBF is an offshoot of the WBA that became independent in the 80s. Charr has been litigious and that's all it takes to be Reg champion. Most the reg champs/elims are guys who sued to get there.
Fun fact: the WBA super belt at Heavyweight was first made for Haye vs Wlad. Then Povetkin picked up the BS regular belt and milked for several years. Next up was the Fres Oquendo saga, which arguably is still going on. It started in 2014.
