WTF with Gary Russell fighting once per year?

Yeah I mean he still makes pretty good money atleast 250K a year so it can't be all bad for only fighting once a year.

 

He got 1.25 million for this.

 

Well damn he's doing even much better than I thought. Not a bad way to make a living if he's smart with his money.

 

I just fact checked myself. He got a part of the gate too and apparently took home 1.4 million as a result. He can retire comfortably after getting that kind of purse a few more times.

The reason he got paid is that he headlined his own event instead of getting shafted on the Stevenson undercard.

I agree Russell Jr is his best win. With that said he needs to fight more than once a year for him to get that P4P consideration. He did handle a much bigger guy who was very game. Jo Jo Diaz has a bright future at 126.

 

Just another example of what I was talking about. You make **** up, just because I refuse to throat Loma like you and a few other ball gobblers. I gave Loma full credit, and also picked him to win the fight. But I guess I'm anti Loma for pointing out that somebody lied and said Linares was 16 pounds heavier. I didn't see that visually. You could see visually that Diaz had more than a few pounds on Russell jr. Not only was he taller, he was thicker, wider, and bulkier.
