My goodness!! Purse bid was weeks ago. Don King and Goosen need to get there head out of there A$$ and make this fight happen. the longer it takes the worst for the HW division and boxing. 2014 needs to be the year where Americans actually pay attention again and hopefully something bright comes up and brings back casual fans.

I dont see what the problem is. hopefully it happens by April (which WBC said it should, lets see how the new president goes about this) but it needs to get signed. Theres already alot of dates locked up in the next few months. so then these guys are gonna delay till May or June talking about theres no TV dates.

I just want to see it hapens soon. so the winner fights Wilder (HE NEEDS TO GET A FIGHT SOON ALSO) by July August then that winner can fight 1 more time by the end of the year. Maybe against Wald for undisputed. maybe rematches with somebody, i dont know. but at least 3 fights for whoever has the title this year, enough of this 2 fights a year crap.

what is the point of this fight? stiverne put on the performance of his career, outboxed, bloodied and battered arreola in their first fight. I as astonished by how thoroughly arreola was defeated.

The point is, Arreola was supposed to win it, like Boytsov was supposed to beat Leapai. The WBC wants Chris to have the belt, so why not try it a 2nd time?

the point is there the top 2 ranked guys. Unless u want Stiverne to fight Wilder? Wilder cant get the tile like that so i dont mind rematch. will be alot closer. Arrerola got his nose broke like 2nd ir 3 round, hard to fight like that

he was thoroughly outclassed, and it's not like he went into the fight with a broken nose. stiverne broke his nose, so it was all apart of the fight. I don't know but I see the same outcome if stiverne comes in on his game. arreola will do exactly what he tried to do to stiverne the first time around, overwhelm him with sheer pressure. and to answer your question, regardless of the fact that wilder has taken the extremely easy route, I would rather see stiverne fight him. either wilder will emerge victorious, and in the process prove himself to be a legitimate threat through defeating a top contender, or he will lose, like most probably think would happen anyway, based on the huge step up in class.

the point is when you get the sh.it beat out of you like Arreola did, you have no business still being ranked #2.
and the broken nose excuse is bulls.hit too....he didnt come into the ring with a broken nose, but he he left with one.... from the ass whipping he took....
    pointless rematch

I feel bad for Stiverne that he has had to wait so long for his title shot. It was wrong of Vitali to string him along. So wrong. Maybe Stiverne will give Arreola's nose another adjustment.

The way Chris sees it, Stiverne didn't beat him...he beat himself. He believes that if he train hard instead of slacking off, he can beat Stiverne.

Confidence can be a wonderful thing.

Just make Stiverne WBC champ. He should be defending his title anyway.
