Really? I thought it was a 12 rounder too, surely it is? Isn’t it for a title shot, does that mean that the hrgovic fight is a 10 rounder too?

 

At this point in his career they should be putting Itauma in front of as many eyeballs as possible to build his hype. He should’ve been on the Canelo/Crawford Netflix undercard.

Not the interim WBO, no. It's for the WBO Intercontinental heavyweight title - which used to be contested over 12 rounds, but during Itauma's reign (and starting during Parker's before his) it's always been 10.

 

Nick Ball is the WBA featherweight champion. Ball vs. Goodman is a world championship bout; BoxRec just doesn't show that because they're in a tiff with the WBA right now.

Yeah I was aware of nick ball being a champion in a championship bout, I’m a big fan of the lad, but I thought Whyte and Itauma was for a mandatory position for the wbo but after checking it turns out it’s for a vacant commonwealth heavyweight championship, anyway I think I was mistaken because of people talking about Itauma possibly getting a shot if he wins but he would only be elevated to mandatory position if usyk vacated, as Parker is mandatory.
So I was basically a lazy fuker and didn’t bother to check

I see... yeah, from the sound of it Turki was going to basically hotshot Itauma into a title shot after Whyte just because likes him / finds him entertaining. There was going to be no real justification for it.

 

Ball, Hrgovic, and the hottest prospect out there? Ok, whatever, I’ll spend the $50. I’d tune in (for free) for any of those three. For all on the same day? Ok, $50, whatever.

 

Parker is the WBO interim champion. This is not for the WBO interim.
