In heavyweights we have a stalemate situation, where the K-Bro´s are reigning the division with no serious thread in the near future horizon. The brothers won´t fight against each other, that´s certain.

The situation in welterweights is somewhat in a similar position. We have Manny and Floyd Jr so far ahead of anybody in that division, that it´s hard to see a real thread against these fighters and they too - like K-Bro´s - won´t fight each other.

In HW´s this has caused avalanche -like critique - "weak era", "HW are a bore" etc. In WW we more or less refuse to criticize the heads of this double headed eagle and try to hype ourselves with fights like Pac vs Mosley and Floyd vs Ortiz.

    Thoughts?

Cool comparison about how both weight classes have a pair of dominant fighters that won't fight each other.

However, I think there were a lot more talented players in WW (circa 2008/9ish) relative to HW so the criticism that HW's get is deserved a bit.

The competition and level of the fighters has always been better in lower weight-classes

wrong, I always get a kick out of fans who try their best to hype up the heavyweight crap! the kbros are very good fighters but the rest of the division is a total **** hole ( I think Adamek has some great potential but I don't know if his trainers can take him to the next level)!
