    IMO, they could. Past-prime Whitaker came within a whisker of beating near-peak Oscar, shot Whitaker was competitive with absolute-peak Tito. 1993 Whitaker soundly outboxes both, even up at 2 weights above his natural.

    It's back to opinions then, I guess.

    I don't believe the Oscar fight was within a whisker. I realize some think the decision was controversial, but I think Oscar clearly took it.

    And I didn't find the Tito fight competitive.

    I found it a little sad.



    I would probably make the 93 Pea a slight favourite over both, but the results would be far from certain.

    I would make him a favourite too, that's why I chose him as my pick from the 90s.

    He should as the bigger guy tho Id still take prime Leonard over prime Hagler myself - at a catchweight of 154 of course :good
