He's on a 4-W streak now and probably hoping to zero in on another chance at Omar Andres Narváez, since both are now sharing bantamweight as their stomping grounds. It provides his best payday outlook and he also probably feels there is unfinished business as the legendary Argentinian stylist only defeated him by majority and split decision respectively in their previous encounters.

Seeing highlights of Kika vs. Joya now, doesn't make up for what I missed but at least getting an impression of the momentum shifts across the rest of the fight...

 

OH WOW. There was an epic left hook knockdown scored by Kika in the seventh. Also she apparently injured her leg sometime in the second half but still finished strong.

 

Scores were 99-91x2 and 99-90 for Chávez.
