Still getting it done at 41!

Almost two full decades into his pro career (will be official as of November) the clever, iron-chinned southpaw and former 2-time national super welterweight champion of Japan is still picking up meaningful domestic victories, now at middleweight. Just last April he was highly competitive in defeat against Takeshi Inoue, who then went on to himself be highly competitive in defeat against the division's new boogeyman Jaime Munguía. The secret to his longevity and rock-steady conditioning? He drinks at least 350ml of tea with every meal. Every day. Year round.

I drink tea constantly, at least Big Gulp sized cups a day. Either freshly brewed Lipton, Astor or Lipton Sugar Mix or one of the various flavors of Arizona, preferably Raspberry.

Its also got to be some kind of accomplishment, I doubt many Japanese fighters have wins over 2 guys named Charlie.

:sisi1 ..and both (technically, sort of) Japanese guys named Charlie.

I love tea as well, and for health reasons have recently had to drastically cut down on my coffee intake so all the more so recently to fill that void. Blacks, greens, whites, and even some herbals - I'll suck 'em all down.

Lapsong Suchong is among my favorites, smoky like a good Scotch whiskey.

I got turned onto tulsi lately, it consists of this sweet variant of the basil plant from India, they make a tea of it that's great for relaxation. Every time I see your thread on Tulsi bumped down in the Lounge it takes me a second to register that it was about Gabbard the politician, and not my new bedtime ritual.

I actually had that written down, but I didn't want anyone starting a but Charlie Ota isn't really Japanese BS with me.

I need to get back into drinking all those specialty teas, especially Celestial Seasonings. I've been meaning to order a few of the more obscure flavors over the net. Sugar Plume Spice, Mandarin Orange Spice, Sweet Coconut Thai Chai and Black Cherry Berry. I'm still pissed nearly 25 years later, Lipton had a Orange flavored sugar tea mix they sold in supermarkets, one of the greatest things I've ever tasted, and the cocksuckers discontinued it.:crybaby2:

I've always tried to limit myself to one cup of coffee a day, and thus far I'm still sticking to it. I went crazy for about a year and started drinking two, I quit after I developed a nervous twitch at the base of my penis, so I gave it up.

Whoops, just realized this didn't embed...

    translation:

Yesterday's match, we took him down in the 1th round, and then we had a minus numbered round, but we were able to seize the East-Pacific Middleweight-class WBO Asia-Pacific Middleweight Championship due to 3-0 decisions.

This was able to get the crown of the class, and it was possible to get to the record of the throne of the Japan's best age.

I was so happy that I won a champion, not a championship decision, but a strong rising champion, and I'm so confident again!

But this is not the end point, but I still have a look ahead, so I'm going to go through it without buying it!

It's not easy, but it's a sponsor and a sponsor. Chairman of Jǐng Gāng Hiroki and all staff. Mr. Kaneko, chairman of the gym, and all the staff members of the gym. Thank you for your support, everyone. Thank you so much to all of you!!!!

:risas3::risas3: I have barely any sensitivity there (can barely feel anything from the hood of the glans on), so for all I know the little guy's been sounding the alarm bell for years and just falling on deaf ears. I do have all the genetic markers and family history for a heart attack, though, possibly as soon as within the next decade, so I need to not be jittery AF 24/7. Might have to cut way down on salt, too, which actually might even be harder, insane as that might sound to anybody that has known me IRL and knows what a coffee addict I've been for the last 20+ years.
