When did Kessler become better the pavlik... He isnt even ranked P4P nor has he beat any quality fighters like Kelly.... Kelly Has the reach on joe and power. They both are accurate punchers with intesense work rates. The fight is a battle of attrition.... I will take the fighter with the best weapon. Pavlik's jab will find its mark all day. And joe is a swarming fighter not an inside fighter (yea he beat lacy on inside but lacy is no pavlik). Pavlik KO9

 

Kelly has two things that Kessler doesn't

1. Heart
2. Workrate

Which is the reason that he'd end up living in a hospital bed, eating soup through tubes and answering yes/no questions by one blink for yes, and two for no for the rest of his life, if he ever fought Kessler.

 

Pavlik crushes the Cardiff Ice Rink Champ in under 8 rounds....at the end I'll feel bad for Joe......Pavlik in one year has done what it took Joe 11 years to do and thats fight 3 good fighters.....Calzaghe needs to stick to picking on senior citizens

Im not to sure about that, Kessler is pretty physically gifted but, he doesn't have heart, I think Kelly would run him over.

Why do you guys think Kelly is going to come to Joe, yes he is a pressure fighter but when have you seen him get close to his opponent. He fights tall and keeps guys at the end of his jab and right hand. Kelly won't smother himself.

THis is a tough fight to call, Joe is going to have to use angles to get inside and then try to thow flurries inside, but he better watch out for that uppercut.

As far as Joes chin goes its Iron. B-Hop didn't hurt him that shot was perfectly timed.

this would be a great fight to watch, I give a slight edge to kelly, but I really don't know

 

i just feel calzaghe's ability to show and attack from awkward angles would throw off pavlik's rhythm just enough to win on pts.

 

Get off Kesslers nuts... He is a good fighter but he has not beat an elite nor is he top in his weight division. He looks impressive but that dont mean much. He got hurt by a Calzaghe slap what would he do had he get hit by a Pavlik right hand.. Joe i think could take a few but no more then taylor did. Taylor has a great chin as well and i believe a much better D then Joe... I dont think joe is going to fight kelly imo to much of a risk to his 0

 

This type of fight makes you wish you could employ a "Hard Hits" rule like in Fight Night..lol

but in reality, This would be a tuff fight to choose
But if I had to I'll take KP, gotta back my dude.

 

His chin might be great in terms of modelling for a shaving commercial, but when talking boxing, his chin isn't great at all, it's quite average and ordinary tbh.
