A lot of people dont really care for Floyd either so i think a lot of the votes will be based on personal preference to...but i found it very interesting as well.

 

You must have little knowledge of these drugs. The blood testing after the bout is the same as taking it months before. These drugs would not be detected if time well with someone with knowledge. A great MTV special with a UFC fighter show how he was taking steroids 30 days before his bout while training to get a maximum push of his workout and abilities. He pass the test for that bout, but then again he tried to push the days while using his performance drugs for his next fight and fail and got suspended. See why this is a big problem? The best way is to test the second half of training camp and I could see Mayweather agreeing with a date as long as it falls between the second half of training. Not before the training, or 30 days before the hard traing, or after the fight.:good

a majority is a figure that is more than half of any given group...e.g. if 100 people are polled the majority could be 55/45, 56/44, 57/43 etc (lol now im just being pedantic)...but even your simple mind must understand what I am saying...

The survey can be skewed depending on the wording of the question. If you ask "Should x submit to y demands?" has a more negative connotations than "Should x agree to olympic style testing to save the fight?"

All that counts are they are the ones that buy the PPV's. People here keep forgetting that those are the important people in all of this. ESB is a very small subset. How many, "I'm not buying that PPV" threads get started here and bandwagon jumpers joining in? In reality, and digest this one, it is the majority of people posting to this board that don't count because they brag about not buying tickets and PPV. Why should the boxing powers care about what we think here.

Yes they can nowadays. Urine is on par with blood ! The difference is that agencies like the USADA may not use methods for urine that would allow them to detect all PEDs. It doesn't mean it doesn't exist... You have to understand that those tests will be paid for and obviously the man in charge speaks favorably of his methods over others, while keeping shut about the fact that randomly sampling urine can do the job. USADA just favor blood tests over urine tests because those are the tests they focus on ...that's all !

 

Well if they agree to NSAC for the testings of both blood and urine, they can have all the random tests they want according to Arum.
