Guys I am a bit terrified about this news. Please give me some assurance it isn't what it seems to be. If Mosley is rated number two among this generation's boxer's to possess the hardest chin.....then what can Congressmanny do? I do have to admit our beloved Congressmanny is not known for his defense, and so what if an unmoved Mosley walks him down knowing he possesses the second p4p strongest chin in the sport until he connects with his vaunted right? Guys please give me some assurance here. Can anyone analyze this chin perspective for me to stop my trembling? Thanks and lots of love for this New Year. :thumbsup http://sports.yahoo.com/box/news;_ylt=AjYLZNvIL4EM1Qz4c8KwHqmUxLYF?slug=ycn-7505978
Can't say I agree with them at all there. Toney behind Shane and David Tua? On top of that Mosley has been hurt and knocked down before. He was really really hurt in the second round of the first Mosley-Forrest fight.
:rofl:rofl No ****ing way is Mosley walking Pacquiao down, not even Margarito could do that he did try and look what happened to his face. This content is protected
Mosley going down against Forrest was part due to a headbutt, followed up by a great shot...if I remember rightly. Mosley even finishing that round, never mind the bout is testament to how good his chin is.
Good point. I don't think the headbutt set up the shot that hurt him. I think he got a cut from a headbutt then referee broke them up, checked the cut etc. He got hurt by a right hand over his jab I think, then was put in serious trouble by a right uppercut that nearly took his head off. Like you said though, the fact he made it out is a testament to his chin. I just wouldn't place him there. P.S. Old man river Mosley isn't walking down someone as quick on their feet, with the handspeed and power of Manny Pacquiao. Though I might put a sly tenner on Shane via KO seeing as I'm supporting Shane in this fight.
Good list. Surprised Floyd's not there. Even though he's rarely been hit, when he has taken a good shot he's responded well. Hopkins too has shown a granite chin. Anyway, Shane won't be walking through Pac. I expect him to see the final bell, and most likely a Pac UD.
Your opinion, man. :good And yeah, that shot did nearly take his head off. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HfDN87pmKxQ[/ame] I actually forgot how much trouble he was in. That bout today, with a guy in that much trouble...I would guess that it would be stopped.
Don't get me wrong I see why he can be placed there. The guy has faced some huge punchers like de la Hoya, Vargas and Mayorga and come through all those fights relatively clean. I just think someone like Toney who has gone from middleweight to heavyweight and never really been hurt deserves his spot right at the top. Pacquiao too perhaps deserves his stop in the top 5. Your right aswell. Today I think that bout would have been stopped. He was really beaten about that round. It's a shame he took such a tough fight against a guy he had struggled with in the amateurs and they only managed to get him a small hall off the main arena of MSG. He should have sacked his entire managerial team there and then.
Nice observation! Mosley got pretty roughed up in that fight but showed his stern chin. He even got punched like a punching bag against Cotto in their fight. His chin is something else. Fact. :good
No problem. I'll gladly clarify it for you. See Manny has been KO'd numerous times and dropped more times than we all can count. Shane hasn't.
Tua got knocked down by Barret in his last fight and Adamek has been hurt several times in his career.
