Yahoo Sports P4P ranking as of february

Top 4 is exactly right, IMO. The rest needs some work.

 

hatton is lbetter than the 140 contenders (except pac) VD is 50-50 with montiel and heavy underdog against donaire

 

my p4p is based on my perception on who beats who...that's why i put taylor over kessler...ofcourse, accomplishment greatly influences my perception...

 

So why isn't Joan Guzman top 10?

 

it changes because the perception changes with every fight of a boxer

 

i strive to have a p4p list where a higher ranked fighter would beat a lower ranked fighter

 

If you have it based purely on who beats who, why isn't Joan Guzman in your top 10 asero?

 

he is inactive...same as wright...have you seen the last fight of guzman, he looks bad..i do not think he can do well at 135 or 140...

same reason why i bumped campbell from 16 to outside top 30...im not sure if he can be a force at 140...he is not a 135 fighter now...had diaz fight campbell now, i favor diaz

 

Why do ppl constantly put Cotto and P.Williams in there :huh

Cotto needs to come back beat Jennings and then another top WW to be back in there imo

But P.Willams should be no where in the top 10

A win and a loss to Quintana and a win vs Margarito + the WBO title does not warrent a place over someone like Ricky Hatton who is a two weight champ and ring belt holder in his division

 

with the kind of showing of cotto in his last fight..any other fighter would go down but margarito's chin is rock solid...cotto goes for the KO when he can just avoid the rampaging truck in margarito...

 

cotto is in there bec of perception and not accomplishment...notice how mosley easily toyed the loaded gloves of margarito...but that alone, cotto losses a lot of stock..

but cotto is in the top 10 because we all know that what mosley can beat, cotto can also beat..perhaps beat more convincingly
