I've mentioned that having Mosley at 4 was overrating him before, so I'll chime in here. I think he should be no more than a slot or two over Cotto if not even; Mosley's still involved in a fight "triangle" that he hasn't established himself as #1 in. If he were to beat Cotto in a rematch, I could see ranking him that high. As it stands, losing to Cotto and going life and death with Ricardo Mayorga doesn't scream "4th best fighter in the sport" to me.

life and death with Mayorga is reaching. I had Mosley up 7 rounds to 4 going into the last round, and even if you gave Mayorga a couple of close rounds I don't think Mayorga had Mosley hurt once in the entire fight... and we all know what happened in the 12th

To top it off Mosley was outweighed by 10lbs on fight night.

I had Mosley well within my top15 p4p going into the Margarito fight.

Mayorga was a finished fighter that a top 5 P4P guy shouldn't have had any trouble beating, let alone needing to win the 12th round to pull a victory out against. One of the biggest reasons that Margarito was the favorite he was against Shane was because of how Mosley looked in the Mayorga fight, and the Cotto loss. People thought he was done.

One fight against Margarito, who Paul Williams beat and didn't even get ranked for it, and all the sudden, Mosley's firmly back in the P4P top 5 and ranked far ahead of the guy he lost to? Top 10, I can see. Knocking on the door to the top 3 is too much.

I put Floyd Number 1 on my blog (www.theboxingstop.com). Methinks if he's as good as he was when he left, then he should should be number 1 until proved otherwise.

I got Pac at 2, JMM at 3 and so on...

Good list. Williams definitely deserves a spot. I don't know about Cotto though. His destruction at Margarito's hands was too thorough - cheating or no.

Nic list. Nice to see that they recognice Europe's dominance in middle-weight and up. That is a nice gesture, because they had the opportunity to just pretend boxing only consisted of the lower divisions until another domint American HW came along - in which case the heavy divisions would of course return to p4p lists.

pac also lost to a nobody, do you think it's not right to put him at no. 1 or at any position in the p4p list because of that loss?

I like their list although I think Cotto needs to move down to 8.

I got Marquez tied with Pac. Big fan of this J.M.M. he's willing to mix it up with Floyd.
