I agree that Maidana,Katsidis and Adamek(as a Hw) are overrated.

Jury still out on Pirog but people got a little to exited with his win over Jacobs

I'll admit Arreola got a lot of hype,, But i think he gets alot of slack, and he has become underrated.

I think Jones and Alvarez are the goods and will prove it once they step up their competition.



Abraham is rated about right.. Alexander?? hes talented i think hell be a top contender for awhile or grab a title again someday.

Havent seen Diacanou fight.

This is a dumb list. These are up and comers. If anything the writers at yahoo should be hyping them up since they will be the new faces of boxing after today's stars retire. If yahoo wants to keep writing about boxing they ought to hype them up to the casual fans.

4. Devon Alexander (21-1, 13 KOs) - lost to bradley but don't agree with this
5. Chris Arreola (30-2, 26 KOs) - two losses/fat ****
6. Dmitry Pirog (18-0, 14 KOs) - don't agree with this
7. Tomasz Adamek (44-1, 28 KOs) - don't agree with this
8. Mike Jones (24-0, 18 KOs) - hard time beating Soto Karass
9. Saul Alvarez (36-0-1, 26 KOs) - hasn't beaten anyone to get the hype he's getting
10. Adrian Diaconu (27-2, 15 KOs) - favorite to beat pascal. loss to him twice.

to call saul canelo overrated and ignore JCC Jr is just unfair
canelo is not overrated,the kid has faced decent competition,its not his fault that the title was handled to him.
neither is adamek-he is just not an spectacular one punch KO HW
katsidis is where he belongs-a Gatti lite-with a big heart
