I can't help but laugh everytime someone says all Oscar has to do is not get tired and keep jabbing to beat Floyd. That **** is just ridiculous. He ALWAYS gets tired and no way in hell does he beat Floyd with 1 ****ing punch!
Actually the consistency of the jab if he can indeed keep it consistent can win him the fight. Especially if the fight looks like the first one. If one fighter is able to consistently do one thing effective, it may be enough to win a close decision.
We both know that Floyd will make adjustments. What makes anyone with good sense think floyd will fight the exact same fight?
all this is really beside the point that DLH doenst deserve the fight to begin with. . . and the first fight was not exatky a barnburner so theres no real reaons for a rematch as for as real boxing fans are concerned.
A jab is the most important punch in boxing but it will still take more than that and nobody has any fear of Oscar's right hand.
I agree with you 100% and that is rare. :rofl I'd rather see Cotto break his ribs and beat him into submission if he feels he MUST keep fighting.
He won't beat floyd, but it keep floyd on his toes. Oscar might not be able to beat PBF with one punch, but he could hurt him with one shot. In any case, this fight is just set up for floyd and Oscar to make some serious money, and is meaningless. Unless Oscar wins, but thats highly unlikely.
Oscar can't keep up the pace and constantly jab. He's washed up and that's why the last fight he didn't jab that much because it will take too much stamina out of him. He's just gonna be looking for that left hook like in the first fight. He might jab a little more then the first match but don't count on him throwing that much more jabs. He'll gas out and then Floyd will take him to deep waters and drown him!
My thoughts exactly m8. I see Floyd givin oscar this fight in a close one so that a third fight can be set with a bigger payday than the first.
