He didn't win his last fight and nobody considered DJ an elite fighter prior. Both were supposed to be decimated and quite frankly, whether people want to admit it or not, G made Canelo look like a defensive genius. But you state a very true statement. G falls more in line with Jeff Lacy than he does the other guys you mention in your post.

On paper he didn't win but the vast majority of the boxing world see it as a GGG win...just as Lennox Lewis is deemed the winner of his first match over Evander Holyfield which was also recorded as a draw.

Jacobs was considered the 2nd best middleweight and an elite boxer in his division. By the fanatics, GGG was supposed to slice through both Danny and Nelo but most knew the two Golovkin opponents were true tests and wouldn't be a walk in the park. There were many feeling the exact same way about Hagler vs Leonard. Many Hagler fanatics swore up and down Ray would be absolutely destroyed but of course like true elite level boxers, they made it competitive.

Nelo didn't look like a defensive genius at all. He looked solid but most of his defense was using his bike and less staying in the pocket relying on actual defensive skills like lateral movement, head movement and angles. He was retreating more than boxing.

Lacy and GGG are miles apart in comparison from every measurable metric possible. Lacy for one was more of a flash in the pan. He didn't have any longevity, he wasn't nearly as dominant and never reached the peaks of the boxing world that Golovkin enjoys now and has for a good stretch of his career.

Lomachenko will probably knock Rigo out, Rigo has been knocked down before. Do some think that Rigo will bring a hammer into the ring with him? Funny, Eastern European haters claim the Golovkin is too old to fight at 35, should retire, but claim that Rigo is young at 37, will he be 38 fight time? Double standard.....................

What self serving garbage.... you have no problem with hype job so long as they are the right nationality or skin color. You aren't fooling anyone.

Sure, call manny Pac a hype job. Just makes you look like a bitter idiot.

Look, we get it, you hate popular fighter who aren't african american. You make that abundantly clear.
