Jones' punch resistance wasn't terrible for most of his career - or at least he had so much skill and ability it wasn't an issue - but it went downhill quick, and late in his career, he had an awful chin.

Put it this way. If the Roy Jones of the 90s had the punch resistance of the Roy Jones of 2004 on, we never would have heard of him.:deal

Elite punch resistance, along with the requisite "**** You" attitude, is something that takes 1000s of hours of heavy sparring to develop. Why would someone with those gifts put himself through that if he can win without ever getting hit flush? I'm usually the first guy to rag on someone for fighting this way, but I think it was justified in Roy's case.

Jones had an awful Glass Jaw. He also mysteriously never fought a savage puncher in his whole career. Kinda strange as there were several available for him to fight...:huh

Apparently, copyright claims resulted in their deletion from YouTube, as this post from their creator indicates:

For some reason, the Brit videos must been seen as having clips short enough to not warrant copyright claims. Or perhaps British television networks aren't as over-aggressive on this as the U.S. ones. Who knows?

According to the ChinCheckers, anyone who has been knocked out or down has a glass jaw.
