You all feel safe calling Hearns, Leonard, Duran, and Hagler ATG's even though 80% of you probably never even seen them fight. Its crazy the double standard you guys invent to try to negate current fighters ATG status...especially Mayweather.

Here is a guy who started at 130 and has beaten the top guy in every division he's moved up to. At the same time Hagler never moved up in weight to take on bigger challenges yet he's an ATG? Really?

Duran has lost to Hearns, Hagler, Leonard, and Benitez yet you claim he would beat Floyd.......Really? So Floyd couldn't fight him the same way Leonard and Benitez did? ..if you say so....

Floyd right now has consecutively beaten more champions/titlist than any other fighter in history, has been a champion since 1998, has been the top fighter P4P since 2002, is currently holding the Welterweight and Junior Middleweight titles at 37 years old, is being goaded into fighting a Middleweight in Triple G, is the highest paid athlete in the world, the most talked about athlete ever (social media)...but yet he's not an ATG........Really?

If Floyd is not an ATG then Leonard, Hearns, Hagler, and Duran haven't accomplished **** in their careers

Ok so where in my thread did I lie?....real boxing fans recognize and ATG in the ring, do you not? Can you name all the currently active ATG's, I'll start with Bernard Hopkins...your turn

You beat me too it. I'd hate to say Pacquiao cause it's obvious. Perhaps Marquez. There are a lot of HOF guys, very few ATG'S. Guys like Cotto, and Klitschko are fringe guys. They are somewhat debatable between HOF and ATG

Here's the boxing experts view of where the fab 4 belong. Try Learning something.

    http://www.ibroresearch.com/

http://www.ibroresearch.com/?p=434 Leonard 2nd best WW of all time. 12th p4p all time

Hearns 8th best WW of all time

http://www.ibroresearch.com/?p=443 Duran 2nd best LW of all time.

http://www.ibroresearch.com/?p=424 Hagler 6th best MW of all time.

http://www.ibroresearch.com/?p=463 Duran 7th best p4p fighter of all time.

Nobody who's followed boxing for any length of time can imagine Mayweather getting in the ring with Hagler.

Hell, he wouldn't even get in the ring with Pac. But he is an ATG just not in the very elite category due to his average comp.

I got Duran as the best lightweight but I'm not surprised Leonard was first. And I agree Mayweather would have never gotten into the ring with someone like Hagler

You answered your own question when you said "Duran lost to Hearns, Hagler, Leonard and Benitez".

When has Floyd stepped in with such class as those names - at there peak?

Duran dominated a division, then fought them all whilst going up in weight... beating one of the greatest pound for pound of all time in Leonard & going 15 rounds losing on a decision to arguably the greatest MW of all time.

Hagler didn't have to move through the weights to prove himself. He was involved in big fights, super fights even at MW.

I too have Duran at number 1, but obviously a case can be made for Leonard being number 1. Interesting considering Duran ranks higher than him P4p.

I thought Duran gave Hagler a tougher fight than Leonard. I liked Leonard but the cheap things like fighting Hagler out of his prime and getting everything he wanted, Mayweather has taken to a new level

True. Probably due to the list of guys he fought at higher weights. That was the second half of his career

duran started at 118. he beat every man he ever faced at 135.

losing to guys like leonard, hearns, benitez and hagler....he had the balls to fight those guys in the first place. he's the first to beat leonard. he went all the way up to middleweight to fight hagler!!! no catchweight b.s. and he barely lost that fight. also...he won the title at 160. let that sink into your brain and marinate for a little while.

duran fought a bunch of guys he wasn't favored to beat...and beat them or at the very least held his own.

floyd won't even fight a guy he isn't favored to beat. his win over canelo isn't on par with duran's win over moore. his win over dlh isn't on par with duran's win over leonard. hell....floyd wants no part of 160.

duran cleaned out 135...then went up to win titles against the best at 147, 154 and 160.

he was 70-1 when he fought leonard the 2nd time and he avenged his only defeat by ko.
