I tell you something though the excuses being made up are clearly agenda based, gatorade, ice tea, pre mix electolyte, powerade, bottles wrapped in tape so the companys dont sue, bottles wraped in tape because the company wouldnt sponsor green.

Some of the stuff the conspircy guys come up with has been more plausable than the excuses offerd by the Green fans.

The only person whos really offerd any plausable explination on this is Pops and Ben and in the end thats all i was asking for because it looks bad for Australian boxing not just Danny Green, the americans will think our system is like Germany and we need to cheat in order to win.

No hating from me here TC hehehe, you're asking fair enough questions and the pix you've provided are good.

The only thing I can suggest is that perhaps the brown liquid is indeed this high-fructose Gatorade that has been mentioned already, and Team Green mix it themselves i.e. they buy it in bulk in powder-form, and they store it in a water bottle, and tape the bottle so it's easily identiable and non-slip?

As for the taped water bottle that appears to contain water - I'm not sure if Green drank from this bottle immediately after drinking the brown liquid? If so, perhaps it's another type of electrolyte he has in combination with the brown liquid, or perhaps it's room temperature water in order to avoid stomach cramps on top of the syrupy brown liquid.

Due to Green's MA, they could have a whole regime mapped out for him as to exactly what he drinks between each round - maybe cold water for rounds 1-3, then some of the brown liquid followed by the clear liquid at rd 4, then some red powerade after that to maintain?

I really don't know and it would be good to get a complete explanation, and perhaps with this media attention we'll get one, but I can't see Team Green doing anything so blatantly illegal.

I really never used to follow Danny much but im learning more and more about him every day, you could call me an optimistic fan perhaps? :nut

I buy the story about the tape being there for non slip purposes as that sounds very plausible to me. I dont think that stuff is Orange Powerade, i cant seem to find any that looks like that and has the same consistancy thats in the video the americano posted.

The guys saying its Ice Tea and thats his sponsor and one other guy saying the cut the lables off in Aussie so they dont get sued by the companys, is actually more crazy than whats orignally being alleged imo and its why i decided to take a closer look.

I was joking around about it at the start then when i read more into it i thought mmmm are these guys talkn sht about this Red bottle and another bottle and so forth so i just had to have another look and put the better quality version though the PC to take some pics. I checked every round and i couldnt see BJs corner drink anythning but Water so of course the focus is drawn to Greens corner, apparently all sports drinks were approved so if its a sports drink then no problem BJ decided he didnt want any i can handle that but as ive said, this sht doesnt look like Orange Powerade to me .

Alot of people agree that its thick and not like normal GatorAde so the Green defends, God bless their little hearts, come out in force posting pics of this new Gatorade stuff ive not seen before in aussie..
