Beterbiev is old, overrated and has a padded record. Yarde is a young, severely underrated talent who will shock the world with a devastating KO.
You're obviously a troll. But calling Beterbievs record padded (Gvozdyk, Smith Jr, Browne) is insane. Yardes Top 3 wins are Arthur, Spelman and Sjekloca. Yarde has beaten exactly ONE fighter with a pulse. Beterbiev will destroy him.
I suppose he has a punchers chance but for me it's easier to beat someone like Beterbiev on points than it is to KO him (a bit like Canelo in that sense) and I just don't think he quite has the speed or work rate nor the timed counter punching ability to do that. Would it be the biggest upset in boxing history? No. Would it be the biggest upset by a British fighter in boxing? No.
Yarde is a domestic level champion and he got obliterated by the first serious opponent he fought. Anyone in top 10 beats Yarde easily.
Yarde is going to get his skull thumped harder than he did against Kovalev. And more often. I look forward to bumping this thread after the fight.
So let me get this straight here... Between Beterbiev and Yarde, you point towards Beterbiev's record being padded?!
