So Yarde is ready to sign his own death warrant is he?!

 

Frank Warren ain't stupid enough to have his man be destroyed by the Krusher, not after what happened with Cleverley

 

You mean not after what happened with Roman Simakov? If that boy ever has steps in the same ring as Kovalev, he will sense the smell of Death before him.

 

Warren promoted the Cleverly fight, saw Krusher up close....would be foolish to have him destroy another one of his bright hopes

 

Cleverly was a beast, Kovalev was peaking then.

Plus Yarde got that power that can change the fight at any second, Clev never had that.

Kova had a streak where he was preying on top 10-20 fighters but they weren't power punchers (Sillah, Clev, Australian, black Amish guy, etc).

if he wait till 2020-2021 he may have a chance ... if it happens this year or next kova crushes him.

 

Yarde isn't ready for Kovalev though.

Any time in the next two years Kovalev wins easily, you can't go from journeyman to elite opposition like that, especially with no amateur background.

 

Yardes power is overrated. He's overpowered mainly Hungarians with spare tyres around their waists.

Tonight he threw the kitchen sink at the Frenchmen and it was an unsuspecting body shot which finally put him down.

Kovalev would simply keep him at the end of his thudding jabs before measuring the straight right power punchas which would kill the boy.

To be honest it's not a fight I'd like to see as boxing's health and safety
reputation would be called into question and of course it would be a needlessly tragic event.

 

Yarde may get beaten by Cedric Agnew level fighters yet. He's only fighting cams. That French guy was tough for that standard. But most decent lhws would have polished him off in 2 rounds

 

I never implied it was cool. Which is why I don't want to see the fight. Yarde has little to no defence and he'd be on the receiving end of unprecedented amount of power shots by one of the most lethal and ruthless punchers in the sport.

The only chance he'd have of surviving the fight is if Kovalev develops arthritis in his hands or is paid a handsome sum behind the scenes to go easy on the boy.
