They need pulling up on it. Kugan or someone needs to say something next interview. WBO need to make an eliminator, he’s been number 2 for 18 months or so now.
That’s just as much the problem if you ask me... that’s need looking at and questioning too how the hell he is number 2 after the fights he’s had. That’s scary you can fight no one in the top 40 enough times and your placed in at number 2 best in the division.
Imo there’s some serious brown envelope movement or Fwank owns the organisation as there is no other reason for it.
Willy Hutchinson would give this lad a hellish night...genuinely. Anyone, with good feet who can switch angles would make him look really bad. He’s very one dimensional, one paced, doesn’t really feint, doesn’t vary the power in his shots and his defence is poor. They are setting him up for a huge fail by putting these pillow fisted, lower weight division, tin cans in front of him. They’re doing a Wilder with him. In about 10 fights time, he’ll eventually fight for a vacant belt.
Frank was asked about it on boxing social and by Dempsey after the fight. Both occasions got his back up Dempsey even had to backtrack with something like "of course, but he's a fantastic prospect".
You can see when Warren knows there's no defence because he immediately bristles. Pity Dempsey didn't take him on, it's rumoured that his hair has mystical powers when it detects a threat.
Its a shame Dempsey does push the boundries with his questions but he did that to David Haye on dave and didnt get asked to present another show!
Sod the boxing I would tune in to: Dempsey Unleashed - a series of increasingly uncomfortable interviews with assorted sports personalities who gradually get more and more disturbed by Dempsey's bizarre questioning.
Pressure is on frank, maybe even from BT hopefully as he put a statement today about the fact he tried to get Sean Monaghan and there struggles to get good opponents. I would be shocked if the next opponent is not better, especially as Yarde is supposed to be headlining at the Copperbox in Decemember
Well that depends on how he gets that title. If it's some vacant belt and he goes up against a weak ass challenger it's not going to mean much.
It would be job complete. But it would be an utter farce. It would be a typical Warren title, see Flanagan, Smith etc. But this time would be even worse.
Do we know ANY boxers that have sparred Yarde? Does he even spar at all? Unless he gets some cross fitters to bash around.
It will be the same level of opponent and you will get people on here saying the exact same thing they did two months ago. People will say this is the last time they will give yarde a free pass and his next opponent better be much better. Just going around in circles.
