Really strange decision by Yarde and his team, he hasn’t fought anyone of note and he is now set to fight one of the top guys in the division. Big gamble but credit to him if he does, whilst I think it’s not a smart move, he at least has stepped up and I will be rooting for him to pull it off. I’m gunny bet on Kovalev by KO though, that has to be the sensible pick with all the information we have available.
First round goes to Yarde by miles because he'll do the same as he did last time. Spent all his energy in one round and struggles afterwards. Can't afford to be so stupid against a world class opponent. Kovalev will take over round 2 and then finish Yarde in round 3. Easy work. Yarde will then say that he needs to move up a weight because he was struggling to make weight when he actually wasn't. How 34% can vote for Yarde is beyond me. The gulf in experience tells you that Kovalev is a guaranteed winner.
