    If they can't get an agreement on the original contract, it's custom that the WBO just orders pursebids, right?!
    Then, whoever wins can decide the venue and both have to the WBO rules about purse splits, testing etc...

    Then if Kovalev pulls out, he loses his belt and if Yarde pulls out, he loses his mandatory position.
    Perfect solution in this case.

    April 15. It's almost guaranteed that the promoters later signed some sort of an agreement (otherwise the WBO wouldn't have kept silent for so long).
    And now the situation is quite F*ed up – somewhere something went wrong. :smile:

    Frank said he was trying to put it on the July 13th card (meaning PPV no doubt) before the Russians offered the big money. Fcuk knows what’s possible now...I think Kovalev might fcuk the belt off and maybe fight Beterbiev or something as he’s also under Top Rank.

    Yarde will probably fight for the vacant belt...I will have a look at the WBO top 10 to see who’s about, but I doubt it will be good viewing.

    Believe it or not, it's Gilberto Ramirez somehow... I guess they put him there after he'd vacated the super middleweight title.
