looks official and like yarde has balls afterall. I actually hope he wins but I think kovalev stops him within 5 or 6 rounds unfortunatly https://www.badlefthook.com/2019/4/18/18484920/kovalev-yarde-come-to-terms-for-title-fight-in-russia
Tunde is an awful coach imo who’s set his lad up for failure. The man is clearly deluded and is making an utter fool of himself. Yarde’s (lack of) popularity has been dragged down by him & he should disassociate himself as drastic has that sounds. Yarde might be the real deal, i’d love him to be but he’s not going to achieve with Tunde.
I agree m8. Most pro boxing coaches come across as good guys who are grounded and doing it for the right reason, but Tunde comes across as a deluded loudmouth clown.
I think Yarde will give an ok account of himself- he's young, powerful and hungry. But Kov will outbox him and stop him mid to late rounds. The lions in the camp will be sad.
How is facing a succession of international puddings outside the worlds top 50 good preparation for facing an elite top 3 LHW? Its not. When Yarde is ICED (assuming this fight comes off), people are going to be questioning the matchmaking. Yarde hasnt faced anyone inside the top 50 and jumps straight into Kovalev.
I want to say Kov blitzes him but I just have absolutely 0 idea what Yarde is about. We know Kovalev is a bit vulnerable and that Yarde has some power but we know Kovalev can box, we know he can overcome adversity. We don’t know any of this about Yarde or anything whatsoever about his chin, it’s hard to make a case for him winning this fight.
I actually want him to win Yarde minus that fool Tunde is a decent guy Tunde clinging to Yarde like the pay day he is What has he achieved with any other boxer?
Kov is on the way down but I still expect him to win. I have nothing to judge Yarde with as his level of opposition has been poor. Fair play on taking the fight. I didn't think they would.
