Yarde vs Smith Jr in June/July

I think Smith retired?

 

Not officially, just said he was going to take time out and decide where to go next.

 

It'd be a great fight, one I see Yarde winning and in brutal fashion.

Hopefully shown on BT sport and not box office.

 

I went for a Joe Smith KO purely based on his more freakish punch power. Although Yarde did quite well surviving and landing a few good shots on Beterbiev I think the prolonged beating will have quite an effect on how he approaches his fights. Joe Smith was stopped in under 2 I believe and is naturally the bigger guy that looked like he was backing up Beteberiev in the first round until Beterbiev whacked him.

 

Good match up and will be fire from the first bell,Smith being a fast starter and Yarde seeming to feel his way into fights could cost him . I think Smith stoppage win inside six rounds after that I’m not sure who gets the win.

 

Yarde has had a nasty habit of getting knocked out. Smith Jr won't miss it.

 

Yarde has balls. He's taking on all the big hitters.

I thought you meant callum when clicking the thread. I like Joe and I think he has a better tank than yarde but he has also just been clobbered and has a history of breaking jaws (his own)

Good, solid matchup. Yarde proved a lot against Beterbiev so he has to be favored in my book.
