If Yarde had fought Smith Jr, would he have been champ?

No yarde would get violently ko’d. Them sloppy shoulder rolls wouldn’t of worked against smith jr.

Smith JR punches that shoulder off and smashes that chin to bits. Yarde would be stopped.

Yarde would get battered by smith jr. I think yarde may just last longer against Beterbiev but only because he’ll probably fart around for the first few rounds

Smith Jr had Beterbiev backing up most of the first round. Beterbiev is a smart fighter people think he just walks everyone down but he is more calculating than they give him credit for.

Yarde would be on his bike against Smith. He would try and draw it out late but then Yarde tires as we have seen so I don't think he can do anything but get KO'd. He hasn't got the tank to go 12 rounds.

    I like Yarde.

    Smith would've won.

Buatsi Smith Jr would be a better match up stylistically.

I said Yarde and I still stand by that.

Smith is a little 'slow'. He doesn't seem like the sharpest tool in the box to me. Also, his confidence is probably completely shot after Beterbiev obliterated him

His confidence wasn't shot after Caminero and Barrera broke his ****ing jaw, it wasn't shot after Bivol schooled him, so I see no reason whatsoever, getting KO'd by one of the hardest punchers in the sport would wreck his confidence either. The fact that he doesn't seem like the sharpest tool in the shed serves him well. He doesn't sweat the small stuff, picks himself up by the bootstraps and keeps punching,

Bivols trainer said that Smith will beat Yarde, that fought Kovalev.

I wonder if this version have a good change of beating Smith
