ive said this before....but....this is a fight that doesnt need to be heavily promoted to do ok.....PR fans who were/are gonna buy it are gonna buy it...canelo/mexican fans that were going to buy it are going to buy it......hardcore boxing fans that were going to buy are going to......this isnt a fight thats going to attract a wild band of casuals even if it was pumped all over the tv, net and radio

i dont know what it will do for numbers....but this is a fight that basically sells itself between the pr/mexican fans and the diehards

 

If this fight doesn't do at least 600-700k then it's a really sad testament to the current state of boxing.

 

I agree with most, 500k-1m is about right. No way it does less than 500k, and I don't see it doing more than 1m either.

Didn't both their ppvs post KTFO6 bomb since most thought the fight was dead

Then once the fight happened Floyd could only do 500k in a record tying 49-0 retirement fight

I think the climate for Ppv has changed without the atmosphere of the next big super fight

Plus due to the lack of action in Floyd Manny most are probably nervous to buy a ppv

 

Yup, I'm sticking with 640k, I think the ceiling is 850k but that's not going to happen.
