YDKSAB if u think Cotto -Canelo does 1Mil PPV buys (400-500k tops)

I'd say between 1 and 2.5mil.

 

This fight has been poorly promoted, and it's just too soon for the public after Farce of the Century.

I am watching the fight, I couldn't give two f@cks whether 1 other person or 500k other people watch it

But some people on here will actually be glad if it flops and others or be delighted if it does well......weird mindset

 

There's a buyer's hangover still in play after May-Pac, which was about twice the price of a normal PPV with 1 tenth the drama.

Right or wrong, that still is casting an overhang on a PPV that otherwise would've had more casual support.

If you wanted a bear case scenario, I don't think it cracks 600k, but would like to be wrong.

 

These numbers are important. But people get too hung up on them.

Floyd's legacy is that he destroyed the earning potential of future boxers with his cowardly display, but I believe Cotto and Canelo will do better than your prediction.

 

Only people wanting a ppv flop are little g fanboys. They can look for there can crusher 'champ' ringside at the Canelo/Cotto fight. He will be groveling at the winners feet for a payday.

 

Arguably, this fight is as big as it is, because, both of these fighters got the most exposure in their careers vs Floyd.
