He clearly doesn't it like it to the body. Fury should have a dedicated body attack from the opening round.
If this is true then all his crying , farting and shaking on the canvas was just actoring and cheating .
Considering it was clearly his tactic to punch low, he'd said as much before the fight, and it wasn't the only punch below the belt? Honestly, I do think it was deliberate - it was low on purpose, he was hoping to get away with one... For once, there was a referee in the ring who didn't turn a blind eye to fouls - most of the butthurt seems to be based around the fact that we've seen worse not given as fouls.
Definitely. Will need to go to the body early and often. Set the tone early. Usyk is going to be hard to pin down but Fury needs to attack his body and slow him down. Yeah your not wrong he is very hurt down on the canvas. Id at least like to think he would have gotten up if the ref was counting. Don't matter anymore it is what it is.
That's the plan. Except, if Usyk takes some of those shots, his plan, historically, has been to go down and say they were low, so he doesn't take so many in a row. Those are with 18 ounce gloves, mind you. This content is protected
Most probably exactly that happened against dubois . He worked the body hard and usyk felt he cannot take more body shots so he pulled out his best ukrainian cheating and actored dramatically a low blow on the canvas.
Every sport, every country, has floppers. Every sport, every country, has athletes who cry foul. Aaron Rodgers in the NFL likes for the ball to be snapped when he sees some fat player walking off who still has one foot on the field, so the opposing team gets called for too many men on the field. (Not like there were actually too many people playing defense.) Some people think it's cool. Others think it's bull****. Doesn't matter where you're from. There's always some guy in every sport who does it, and he has fans who defend him because "technically" it's a rule, whether any damage was done or not. Did he hit him in the trunks. Yes. Everyone hits everyone in the trunks during a fight at various points. Were any of those shots in any of those clips what THE ENTIRE WORLD understands as a low blow (a shot to the balls) ... NO. You want a WORLD Heavyweight champion to be able to take a shot, to the side or the stomach or the material on his pants ... without falling down and begging for more time. It bugs me to no end. The last thing I want to see after the fight are a page full of threads on whether that was a low blow or not and who "should've" been declared the winner. Just a nice clean KO would be fine, either way.
I don't follow Dubois enough to know that it was his specific tactic to do so, so I can't touch that one and I won't say something is dirty if I hadn't know prior that there was ill intent. In this case I have to take your word for it now. Ultimately I just know what affected Usyk was low and the whining about it being a fair shot should end.
It is very easy to understand. The only people not understanding it are the people who do not want to understand it. Not much that can be done in this case.
