looks like retirement for me... good, i like him but who could he fights now anyway? don't worry ricky, we still love you
What else is the man supposed to do... He got KO'd... being sad about it isn't gonna change that fact.. good to see that he's accepted it and is movin on.. no use dwelling on it. its time to keep the ball rollin... Ricky failed at the highest level twice but most other guys at 140 would have been beaten by Manny yesterday and just as man other fighters would have lost to Mayweather as well... Ricky isn't complete trash he was the man at 140... and id say that he can still be one of the top dogs... sure he's past it but he'd still give alot of the other boys a decent run for there money surely
feeling sad and sorry is not going to change the fact that he was KO'd. It is good that he looks healthy and he is moving on. There is nothing wrong with that.
whats he supposed to be doing? crying on his mummys shoulder? it could just be a front for how he really feels but he's a man and aint gonna show it infront of the cameras.
He had organised the pool party thing before the fight was on to meet with the fans. Considering the drubbing he got and how you can genuinely tell he is upset when he upsets his legion of fans - I think that's a class move on his behalf when he obviously must be burning from the performance. Good bloke. Through and through good bloke, can't hold his hands up or follow a game plan, but a good dude none the less.
I hope he loans me the cash I lost...... lol. He's a credit to the fight game, and the Brits as a nation. He faced 2 of the greatest men in the current game of late, and wiped the floor with an older Kostya. Let the sooks sulk, and let the winners grin. None of us KNUCKLEHEADS ever made a statement worthy of Hatton taking himself to the local Boozer to see us in action!! Good on him, great sport, great entertainer and a bloke worth respecting.. even in defeat/retirement.
