Well, duh. Faced with a fairly routine circuit that someone conditioned to box would ease through with his eyes shut, most guys here would pull a miserable quitjob midway through and keel over in a trembling heap while kids watched. Which isn't only a reflection on most here, but just most people. The human race isn't generally all that tough or fit anymore, least not in the first world.

Average 'fit' guy thinks he's had a good workout when he reaches the point where he's pretty darn tired. Boxing conditioning teaches people to go past the point of exhaustion and mental duress.

Most don't even have an inkling of how much goes into creating movements that appear simple and natural when a boxer boxes. Most take them for granted because they seem effortless and basic by dint of the fighter's hours of repetition and drilling his body to do the contrary of what it naturally wants to do and the conditioning required to maintain form through thirty-six minutes of pressure. And by "most", it's probably not unfair to say that I'm talking about most who call themselves fans of the sport.

 

The yoga instructor thing felt natural, this feels forced.

 

Just saying, I love his hair like this instead of that keef ponytail.

The man's career went downhill after he got married, lets be realistic here. But that's not something he can say in public these days of course.
