Rashad did some great things in the first couple rounds. Dude is quick as a welterweight with his hands and takedowns. Thiago is a tough cookie too. But he was made to look very bad in that final frame. A former champion forced to backpeddle while his opponent is taunting him and hitting him at will??? Where is your stamina Rashad, if you weren't gassed then where is your pride? He won the fight, yeah, but the image that was left in fans heads was him getting clowned and almost stopped at the end of the fight. Pride rules, he would've lost.

And my prediction for the Rampage/Rashad fight remains unchanged. Rampage by GNP Stoppage after dropping Rashad with a left hook.

Rashad did exactly what I thought he had to. Use his wrestling kill time get up and repeat. He is a wrestler first with some strike to use.

I rewatched the fight and I would have given the 1st round to Thiago on strikes, landed the cleaner shots and most of Evans flurries didnt get past Thiagos guard. Shame he couldnt stop the takedowns or ko him in the 3rd.
