Perhaps a bit premature but if you would permit this indulgence?

    FOTY- Gassiev/Lebedev
    KOTY- Gassiev/Shimmel
    FTY- Lomachenko
    TOTY-Uncle Abel Sanchez

    Read em' and weep...

Salido/Vargas will probably get FOTY but it really should not. Salido fought dirty the whole fight while Gassiev/Lebedev was clean, brutal, technical boxing with no clinches.

Canelo/Khan will get KOTY but it's B.S. Khan was much smaller and had been stopped on multiple occasions prior.

Loma and Abel should be strong front runners for the last two awards. Frampton does deserve consideration as well.

I really have no idea or interest in promoter of the year. Probably Hearn!

    Salido/Vargas
    Indongo/Troyanovsky
    Lomachenko
Not sure about TOTY, but Sanchez is a good shout after Gassiev's win last weekend.

    FOTY Gonzalez-Cuadras (Yamanaka-Moreno II, Salido-Vargas, Gassiev-Lebedev,Dorticos-Kalenga, Thurman-Porter, Frampton-LSC)

Fighter: Lomachenko (Ward/Kovalev. Neither of them really separated themselves from one another, imo, and they both had good years.)

    KOTY: Indongo-Troyanovski.

Round: Vlasov-Chakiev Round 6, maybe. Or Williams-Rodriguez Round 2. Lots of good rounds, of course but there isn't one that really, really stands out as being all-time memorable.

Trainer: Yeah...Abel's a decent shout, here, I think.

Forgot about that one, which is the likelier canditate since Uchiyama was a lot more proven that Troya and frankly a better p4p fighter.

I hope Uncle Abel talks **** after winning trainer of the year. He's real good at getting cheap heat of you marks and he does it without being cringe worthy like Roach or Floyd Sr.

Abel's stocks might be further enhanced if the skinnier - courtesy of Sanchez - Ruiz beats Parker in a few days time.
