Became #1 by beating Foreman? Mayorga wasn't ranked, Margarito wasn't ranked. What makes you think Cotto is #1?

You should include "Marquez jumped straight to welter, after only fighting two times at lightweight."

I mean, Imagine if Donaire moves up to 126 fights twice there, then decides to make the move to Lightweight to fight Marquez:-(, Marquez stops him in 4 rounds..... I wouldn't even mention that as one of Marquez's greatest wins.

Marquez had already had two previous fights with Pac, he had already fought at 147, two more fights one at 135, and at 140, before he went up and fought Pac, different circumstances.

Cotto was ranked #1. If not him, then who was? Spinks? Bundrage?

I don't really care about all his titles and statistics or the unbeaten record. But I do think I know a hugely talented fighter when I see one, and Mayweather is indeed that.

    yeah you can.

it's a great resume for most boxers.

but for floyd's talent? it's half ass.

think of the atg in floyd's class.

look at their resume and compare it to floyd.

any durans , haglers , hearns on there? nope.
