Yes early losses happen but what has Lemiuex done since those losses that warrants him being compared to Hearns or Hagler?

Golovkin/Lemieux may end up being a very exciting fight if Lemieux can get into the fight but let's not pretend this is a match up worthy of being compared to Hagler/Hearns, I'm not even sure if it's as good as Hagler/Mugabi.

Agree with this, I was a big GGG fan up until the whole 164 catch weight BS.

GGG and Lemieux don't posses the same pedigree as Hagler and Hearns had when they fought so the comparison is flawed and contrary to popular belief the only similarity is in the power that will be on display.

Hagler and Hearns would run through GGG's resume in a week.

Yeah he probably would have....if he had turned pro at 19. He lost to Andre Dirrell and Double-G.

Nah, the footage I've seen of that is just a lot of hugging and rough housing. It wasn't exciting. Besides, that was before they made it a rule that you had to wear shorts, so Papke was wearing assless chaps, a sumo thong, or something.

Ooh, I'd love to see him fight Dirrell at 168. Let him get his feet wet before taking on Ward, Jack, or Degale. But seriously he doesn't need super middleweight. This pay per view will make him a big enough draw that he can get Cotto, Canelo, Quillin, Lee, Jacobs, and his dance card is going to be full for the next few years.
