Yeeehaawww!! Vic just called out montiel

Now that is going to be a great fight. Montiel tight trunks is my boy and VIC is my boy. Montiel will not let those words go unnoticed.

 

i give vic credit for proving alot of people including myself on mijares, but mijares is a kitten compared to montiel. i was never a mijares fan, but montiel is the real deal. montiel will play "la cucaracha" while he lays a hurtin on vic.

 

Vic is really funny. His pronouncements are so outrageous and overblown, but he does know how to win. Sometimes I wonder if the language barrier, speaking in English, is the reason he talks so over the top. If you saw him after the fight, being interviewed in the ring, he seemed like a nice, polite guy . He has a champion's heart though, so you have to appreciate the guy. He wiped Mijares movie star smile right off his face.

 

Should be a great fight. Vic ain't wasting any time when it comes to cleaning out the division.

 

i am liking vic more and more. badass fighter and fights anyone even at their home turfs. makes me wanna join the "darchinyan bandwagon". :good

 

showtime will be all over this fight, feb next year.

i like darchinyans attitude. i've been wanting a superfly unification for quite some time.

 

Wow how **** changes. A week ago we were talking about FOY Montiel V Mijares and now this. Thats why I love boxing somethings always happening. I think this fight is going to be huge...I hope Montiel wins today with no problems.

 

Thats what most us ozzies in the oz forum have been saying for awhile. He definetly doesnt shy away from top contenders.Even with a draw and loss he has always wanted to mix it with top fighters.That is a very rare in todays fightgame.

Hes oldschool..Belts are what he wants first and as he achieves those the money will always be there.

I have had the honour of speaking to him at a local shop in sydney of all places.Cool guy..Believe me he definetly aint the cocky booster he may come across on the camera..It is very strange..Hes like jeckal and hyde.

Have always been on the Darchinyan express but what has impressed me most is that even after a devastating defeat he got straight back on the bike and continued fighting quality opposition.

 

I have yet to hear Vic call out his tormentor Nonito Donaire. Nonito is available. Is he afraid to do the chicken dance again?

 

As much as I like the rematch that must happen between him and Nonito, this is mouthwatering :good

 

yeah he seemed like a cool guy. his perceived cockiness must be a product of a language barrier or something. i liked what i saw when he was still very sportsman to gorres even if he didn't like the official decision (draw).
