'Yellow streak'

    No, they wanted their money back because a black man beat a white man. Nothing to do with the fight itself. Just the way it was during that time.

    yeh and yellow symbolised gold, kingliness and religion too going back to antiquity.

    I guess we cant pick our facts to color our argument with.

    Granted there are multiple associations with the color yellow. One of these happen to be applicable to the subject at hand, the origin of the term yellow streak. Most people here can agree that the use of the color yellow in the phrase yellow streak has nothing to do with gold or being kingly.


    You on the other hand, when on some wild speculation that it had something to do with Asians that has no foundation.
