How the **** could he have just signed for the fight?

There was never a fight to sign.

How can you negotiate with a guy who says you can have 50-50, then you can't, then he wants ALL of the PPV money. You can't negotiate with a guy like that. It's impossible.

Again, there should never have been any cut off negotiations.

Hatton, Bradley, JMM etc have never needed to negotiate like that with Manny. Don't you think that's odd?

How did Floyd WANT the fight, when he originally demanded something that he'd never demanded before, and then when everything was agreed upon, he wanted all of the PPV money? :patsch

Big L, there was a mediation held in order to sign the fight. Manny for whatever reasons they gave, walked from negotiations.

Then Arum was caught lying which the mediator called him on. top Rank were the ones responsible for not making the fight.

I try not to think about negotiations in 2012 because really, the fight died in 2011.

So in your world, where Floyds camp made baseless accusations and then Floyd demanding things he had never demanded before somehow makes Pacquaio a ***** for not going for every single thing he demanded? It's easy to find videos of Floyd contradicting his self on numerous occasion over the years anytime Pacquiao's name is mentioned. I could post plenty of videos and links if you needed. Truth is, a fighter doesn't demand something like Mayweather did and admits to being concerned for his health against said fighter unless he is nervous and doesn't want to really make the fight happen. Again, many fighters had no problem stepping in the ring with Pac without making demands they had never asked of another fighter. Truth is, the supposed person who would handle Pac easy was worried for his health. You can't deny it.

Before anyone posts a pic of Pac knocked out just remember it was Marquez that had the balls to constantly step in the ring with Pac for smaller paydays just to prove a point. Not Mayweather.

pac demanded things he never demanded once he got to 147. who gives a ****. why should pac get special treatment and floyd have to agree to all of pac's demands, but pac to none of his? :nut

WHY should he have had to have taken any tests in the 1st place??

In 2009, Floyd was suddenly hit by a blinding light, and then he thought to himself, I want all my opponents to be tested more thoroughly.

Manny was slandered, and didn't want to give in to Floyd's demands.

    He then negotiated with Floyd.

In the end, he agreed to everything, and then what happened?

Floyd who wanted the fight, suddenly wants all of the PPV.

I'm not in anyway a fan boy. I don't particularly like Manny, and I hate all of the catchweights, and the Oscar fiasco etc. But it's crystal clear to me that Floyd never wanted the fight.

Why do people think this has any relevance? When Pac was pressed with the issue of testing he ran for the hills. An issue that no one with nothing to hide would ever run from. An issue that's good for the sport as a whole I might add. Yet fools like you refuse to acknowledge that point because it blows up your failed pathetic agenda. You rather sit back and bash PBF saying why did he even need to ask for testing in the first place instead of asking why a clean fighter ducks a drug test.:deal The logic of you *******s and non boxing fans is pathetic..:-(

floyd didnt want to be cheated, just like pac didnt want to be cheated with all of the overweight penalty crap he put in place for his biggest fights.

pac demanded things he never demanded once he got to 147. who gives a ****. why should pac get special treatment and floyd have to agree to all of pac's demands, but pac to none of his?

    What don't you understand?

Floyd should have just fought him without any testing demands, just like everyone else.

manny was the one who started with all of the extra demands, floyd had every right to ask for one for himself

Hiya pal, I know all that, but that was a long way down the road from all of the initial back and forth negotiations between the two that started in 2009.

We know Arum said he didn't want the Floyd fight, only for him and Floyd to meet after etc.

    There's loads of other examples.

I know Manny had his own demands, but the point is, Floyd started this whole fiasco.

Asking for extra testing is fine. But slandering someone with no evidence, and then making demands clearly isn't.

We saw how serious Floyd was when he wanted all of the PPV money.

It's relevant because people are sucking Floyd's balls and acting like he has been a huge advocate of drug testing in the sport. Where was he at for all those years when people were ACTUALLY CAUGHT? He wasn't demanding for extra testing then. You only heard about it when he had probably the hardest test of his career and started making accusations and demands. Now he does it to safe face. If he was serious about it, he would have been doing it long ago and doing a better test like Donaire is doing.
