I already know about the rumors of Floyd and all that. I was saying IF Manny was using and would take a blood test right after the fight then he would probably be caught seeing as how all these Mayweather fans seem to think he would be using all the way up to fight night because he wanted a cut off date at first

Now it matters what year it is. If anything, this was a faded version of Pac that was willing to bow down to all of Floyd's demands and yet Floyd was still scared to get in the ring with him. What's that say? It still would have been the most lucrative fight in history, and Manny was willing to do everything Floyd wanted and give him a bigger purse split. Mayweather still didn't want it. He will have to live with that. Manny was fighter of the decade and Marquez finally got his well deserved win. Mayweather still to this day goes on rants whenever Pacquiao is mentioned, lol.

He wouldn't be caught if he had a brain in his head. To catch a cheater now, you really need Olympic style testing. I don't know why Manny didn't take the test. Nobody really knows. It doesn't look good, though, that's for sure.

But neither one of these guys is a saint when it comes to testing. Floyd's phony as hell.

No one ever made a demand Manny be tested on the day of the fight. That has never happened in any pro bout with random testing.

no need to make things up

Eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao has finally agreed to everything Floyd Mayweather Jr. wants in order to make what seems to be the biggest and most lucrative fight in boxing history.
One of the major conditions demanded by Mayweather during the early stage of negotiations almost three years ago was the Olympic-style drug test (OSDT), which required Pacquiao to submit to a random drug test all the way up to the day of the fight.
Mayweather believed Pacquiao was taking performance enhancing drugs which gave him an added advantage over his opponents during his previous fights.
In order to come to an agreement, Pacquiao offered a 14-day drug testing window, saying he feels weak when blood is taken from his body and would need a few days to recover.
Mayweather balked at Pacquiao's offer and after weeks and months of negotiations, Pacquiao relented and changed his offer to seven days.
Still, Mayweather continued to criticize Pacquiao for his refusal to join him in what he called an action necessary to clean the sport of boxing.
In his desire to give boxing fans the fight they have long wanted to see, Pacquiao finally decided to agree on Mayweather's demand without pre-conditions.
During his interview Thursday on ESPN's First Take show, Pacquiao said he sees no problem with the drug-testing issue.
"No problem," Pacquiao said. "Whatever he wants to do."

He said he is willing to be tested even on the night of the fight. "No problem," he said. "Even the night of the fight. No problem."
The other major contentious issue is the fight purse which appears to have likewise been resolved with Pacquiao's latest statement on ESPN, saying he is now willing to face Mayweather on a 55-45 purse split in order to make the fight happen.
It may be recalled that some members of Team Pacquiao proposed a 45-45-10 sharing which Mayweather has turned down. In this proposal, the 10 percent goes to the winner which means he gets 55 percent while the loser gets 45 percent.
Another thorny issue is the venue of the fight which poses a problem for the promoters as big numbers of fans are expected to watch the long-awaited fight.
Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum wants to build a temporary structure in Las Vegas to accommodate more people to watch the fight, but he said the Cowboys Stadium in Texas is a good alternative venue for a fight of this magnitude. Mayweather, though, prefers Las Vegas as the future fight venue.
The fight venue as well as other minor issues are yet to be agreed upon by both parties.
Despite Pacquiao's call for Mayweather to face him in the ring after Pacquiao's fight with Juan Manuel Marquez on December 8, the unbeaten champion Mayweather has opted to maintain silence on the issue.

Pacquiao said win or lose against Marquez, he will take 45 percent of the purse if that will pave the way for the super fight to happen early next year.
Lance Pugmire of the Los Angeles Times wrote "'Win or lose, I’ll take 45%,' Pacquiao told his publicist Friday in Mexico City." "Floyd can have top billing, he can be introduced in the ring first or last," Pacquiao also said in the article.
“He can wear my trunks. I don’t care. I just want to get him in the ring and make the fight.”
But after the interview on First Take, According to Pugmire, on Friday Pacquiao's advisor Michael Koncz tried to clarify to The Times Pacquiao's statement on the 55-45 sharing. More on the difference in Pacquiao's and Koncz's takes on the purse split can be read here in this article by Ben Thompson on Fight Hype.com.
Pacquiao, who tried to postpone his decision to announce his fight with Marquez in the hope he can still land a fight with Mayweather within the year, said he does not understand why the fight has not happened.
“I hope that the fight with Mayweather will be close, to give the fans the fight they want,” Pacquiao said in the Los Angeles Times article.
Fans and critics are eager to hear what Mayweather has to say on this raging boxing issue of the day.

thats cool that pac was willing to test on the day of the fight, but it was still never demanded by mayweather and it never held up the fight.

pac walking from the 14 day cutoff offered during mediations is what killed it

You're talking about many months after the fact. Pac was asking for 24 days and then walked out of the fight when he had 50/50 on the table AND a 14-month window. Then he wants to come back way after the fact and ask for those terms? F*ck him.

pacquiao never offered 14 days. mayweather offered the 14 days and pac walked from mediations:

The sides had quickly agreed on most points in the negotiations and the drug-testing dispute has been the only sticking point in the last month in an attempt to make the bout between the men widely regarded as the top two fighters in the world.

The highly anticipated bout seemed to be going down the drain Friday afternoon as Pacquiao adviser Mike Koncz told Yahoo! Sports by telephone from the Philippines that “we’ve moved on and are getting ready to sign a contract to fight Clottey.”

Schaefer, whose company is representing Mayweather in the talks, said Friday he isn’t sure Pacquiao is aware that Mayweather agreed to cut off testing 14 days before the fight and to have it administered by the Nevada Athletic Commission.

Bruce Binkow, the chief marketing officer of Golden Boy Promotions, on Dec. 30 offered a 14-day cutoff as a compromise via instant message to Top Rank president Todd duBoef, who replied on Dec. 31 that “14 is no good.”

Schaefer said he believes the fight can be salvaged over the weekend and the first step is making certain that Pacquiao is aware of Mayweather’s 14-day offer. “There are reports [on the Internet] that Manny is not aware of this and we want to make certain that he knows what Floyd has agreed to do,” Schaefer said.

However, Koncz said he was informed of the offer by promoter Bob Arum and that he brought it directly to Pacquiao, who would not even consider it. Koncz said Pacquiao was very firm in his decision.

“Bob called and told us about the 14 days and I brought that to Manny and he said, ‘I told you, we’re not agreeing to that,’ and that was pretty much it,” Koncz said.

Lmao. What the hell. Pac agreed to everything. Mayweather had a faded Pac who looked less then spectacular against Marquez in front of him and Floyd still couldn't bring himself to get in the ring for the biggest, most lucrative fight in history. Why do people keep bringing up Manny turned down the highest payday of his career. Floyd turned down the highest payday of his career with a supposedly easy fight. Manny was willing to take a smaller percentage. Just not the flat fee Floyd had offered him. Lol.

Lol. So it's Manny's fault for agreeing to everything and Floyd didn't need him to make the biggest fight in history happen? Even after Marquez 3 it was still going to be the most profitable fight in history and Mayweather still wouldn't step in the ring with him for a career high payday...
