Its a very simple process. Do these things effect the outcome of the fight. If Pac weighs 148 on fight night like he did vs Hoya and Mayweather weighs 150 on fight night is Pac really at a disadvantage? Regardless we both know that the fight wasn't going to be at 154.

All you do is make smoke and mirror comments that don't mean anything.

we wanted him to fight Pacman not Guerrero. What does it matter if Guerrero takes the test. Curious to see who Floyd picks next. Berto?

Smoke and mirror huh? So Floyd making demands and saying things that he has never said of another fighter doesn't mean anything to you. The fact that Manny eventually agreed to everything but the low ball offer still isn't enough. If you don't find the fact that Mayweather was doing and saying things that was out of the ordinary for him as a sign of a fear of Pac and that might have influenced his negotiating is fine. I won't change your mind.

Nothing Mayweather asked for would have negatively effected Pac in the ring. Which is all that matters.

    Smoke and Mirrors.

Of course it wasn't an issue. But Rigo hadn't been accused of being a cheater, and had to sue for defamation of character.

You can't compare the two very different situations. The circumstances are completely different.

    Concrete,

Floyd backed Manny into a corner by siding with his big mouth Daddy and demanding the tests in the first place, when nobody else either before or since has done such a thing. You want to talk about backtracking? How about Floyd constantly moving the goal posts?

Floyd demanded the tests after his Dad's accusations.

Look, Manny agreed to everything in the end, and did we see the fight? No!

You're of the opinion that if Manny had agreed with Floyd's demands straight off, we'd have gotten a fight.

But there's nothing to support that theory. Floyd would always had an issue with something.

Manny was supposed to be an easy nights work, yet when Manny had agreed to everything, Floyd stopped the fight in it's tracks by being ridiculous and wanting all of the PPV revenue, which you can't defend.

So those actions tell me exactly how serious Floyd was in trying to get the fight on.

    Stop splitting hairs ffs.

It was clear that Floyd agreed with his Dad's accusations.

If you don't want to answer my questions, that's fair enough.

But it's pretty pointless for me to continue debating with you.

So we'll leave it there. :good

Rigo also didn't refuse the testing at any point which is the main reason y the circumstances were different. With Manny taking the testing no problem there wouldn't have been anything Mayweather could say about him cheating all that would have been put to bed.

Nice choice of words, RUN and RAN

Why didn't Mayweather just get in the ring and fight him, without demanding OSDT up to the day of the fight?

Juan did it 4 times. He didn't demand the same thing as Floyd. Neither did Cotto, Bradley etc.

    Strange that.

    You're hilarious!

The fight would have SMASHED the record set with Oscar from 2007.

You think Manny was going to accept the flat fee, but with NO PPV percentage? :patsch

    Yeah ok!

The fight with Oscar grossed $120m.

You think Manny was going to make $40m, to then watch Floyd earn probably 3 x the amount?

I can't believe you actually thought that was a genuine offer.

He knew that Manny wouldn't accept. It was just laughed off, because it was a joke.

That shows me just how serious Floyd was in trying to make the fight.

What makes perfect sense, is that Floyd demanded OSDT when nobody else ever had an issue with fighting Manny.

After 13 years as a pro, Floyd came downstairs one morning to eat his porridge, and said "I want to clean up the sport of boxing."

Saying that he wanted all of the PPV revenue, in what would have been the biggest grossing fight of all time.

That's how serious he was about making the fight.
