When has Manny submitted to random blood and urine? How do you figure he has agreed to it, he's never done it...any of it, and wouldn't do it when asked by other fighters either? Please explain...

    ashl3y72,

    WOW!

How can I simplify this so you can understand?

Leonard Ellerbe and Al Haymon WORK FOR FLOYD!

    DO YOU UNDERSTAND??

They try and make fights on Floyd's BEHALF.

ANYTHING that Ellerbe and Haymon ask for, are on behalf of Floyd.

Ellerbe is Floyd's assistant and business manager, and Haymon deals with the contracts. That's what roles they play.

Floyd is their boss, and calls the shots.

The ultimate decision on ANYTHING, lies with Floyd.

Both of those guys work FOR Floyd.

    He is their employer.

Once again, you are being ridiculous!

    wrong again

    http://www.mlive.com/mayweather/index.ssf/2009/12/floyd_mayweather_representativ.html

Ellerbe stressed that the decision was made solely by himself and fellow Mayweather adviser Al Hayman, without their fighter’s input.

“Floyd’s got nothing to do with this. It’s our job to protect him and give him the best chance to be successful. Inside the ring, he’s got that. He’ll have no problem with Pacquiao, none whatsoever. Our job is to take care of things outside the ring.”

    Reppin501,

Have you read what I typed?

I was comparing the two very different sets of circumstances.

Rigo was asked to be tested.

Manny was labelled as a cheat, and had demands thrown at him by Floyd. He also ended up suing the Mayweather's for defamation of character.

I also said that in the end, Manny agreed with all of Floyd's testing demands, to try and make the fight.

At that moment, Floyd had got his wish, and the fight should have happened. But it didn't, because Floyd then demanded the ENTIRE PPV and killed the fight.

    Haha!

    Seriously, how naive are you?

    And you genuinely believe that?

    Honestly?

You don't think that Floyd instructed it, and they were trying to take the heat off of him?

He mentions that Floyd has got nothing to do with it THREE TIMES all in the same couple of paragraphs. Why would he have kept repeating himself?

    This was the best bit:

Leonard Ellerbe, Mayweather’s adviser, declined to comment whether the demand was based on suspicions, initially voiced by Floyd Mayweather Sr., and subsequently by others close to Mayweather, that Pacquiao uses performance-enhancing drugs.

“I’m not going to get into that,” Ellerbe said. “But people can read between the lines. Al and I made sure this will be implemented. It is going to be done.”

    Ha!

You believe what you want to believe mate.

The only one with their head in the sand is you.

Nobody else has had the same demands to get in the ring with Manny.

Floyd was a pro for 13 years before he was on a mission to clean up the sport.

Manny eventually gave into Floyd's testing demands, so there seemed nothing to prevent the fight from taking place. But instead of trying to make the fight, Floyd killed it by demanding all of the PPV money.

Those weren't the actions of someone who wanted the fight, and I find it absolutely BAFFLING that you don't hold Floyd responsible in anyway.

You know that Floyd offered the flat fee, and wanted to keep all of the PPV revenue.

There's no point taking this any further.

We'll agree to disagree, and I'll see you on another thread.

    It's been fun. :good

Don't talk about Manny going back on his word, after Floyd pulled a stunt like that. You can't negotiate with a guy who behaves like that.
