I was so begging roach to be his usual incompetent self during fights and keep letting pascal come out for more punishment.

Kovalev could had stopped pascal at any minute he felt like it. He was dragging it on as long as he could without going past the 8th.

He wanted to beat his **** and win the 50k just to rake that scumbag more than needed.

 

The man has a daughter and a family, why would you want him risking his life or permanent injury for your own satisfaction?

He felt like man has been disrispectful to him and his trainer, if man has family he should be smart enough to understand kovalev comes from a different culture where trash talk means a little more and not everybody can swallow trash equally lightly.

 

I don't care what Kovalev does in the ring, it's his job to hurt his opponent to get the victory.

What irks me are these scumbags who wanted Pascal to take more punishment for their own satisfaction, there's no excuse for that unless you're a "piece of sheet" like Kovalev famously says.

I'm no professional boxing historian, but I know a little bit....and I've never seen a fighter that seemed to fight meaner after an opponent died.

I literally can't think of any other example. Only Kovalev seems to have gotten more sadistic.

I like KOvalev but his lack of mercy and his cruetly sometimes is disturbing.

 

What do you think we should do about it? Sergey Kovalev hits really hard and when he lands he can hurt people or even kill people. It's his job to hit people as hard as he can.

Sergey Kovalev epitomizes boxing at its purest form. He's highly skilled and he utterly destroys the opponent. It doesn't get any more clinical than that. He's excellent at his job.

Lastly, Kovalev comes from a culture where trash talking isn't a good thing. It's disrespectful to him. He's not from America, he doesn't understand or get the whole Gangsta, G vibe thing. It's not his thing. He has his right hand, they have their mouths.
