but you cant compare mosley to marg... mosley is small, non effective pressure who really didnt set a horrible pace for cotto... and yet still had cotto retreating at the end of the night.

Margarito is bigger, throws more, heavier hands, throws more varied punches,

but is slower and will be easier to hit...

    so it will be interesting.

Probably cuz you haven't even seen the fight.

The punch wasn't low, and even if it was, it came after Urkal's first attempt to butt. There's at least 10 other instances in the fight where Urkal butted him.

There are many differences between Shane and Tony. Shane is not that small ( 5'9'' tall against Cotto's 5'8'' of height) and is faster. The pace was reasonably high beteween them in November because they didn't clinch and didn't take breaks to move around as much.

Margarito is bigger and a volume puncher, very heavy handed in my opinion but he's not that versatile. He pressures like nobody else does and bangs hard to the body but his punches come wide at times and he's slow getting off, doesn't give angles either.

It will be a thrilling punch fest as long as it lasts.

We should all remember that Cotto doesnt have to KO or hurt somebody to win a fight he can box and move around, he showed that against Mosley and Gomez.
I dont think Margo has such a great foot work to keep up with cotto and his shotgun jab, the only thing Im affraid of is that Cotto might lose his cool and try to brawl with Margo wich could mean big trouble since Margo will not stop throwing bodyhots even if he's beeing hit in the process.

Urkal is very tought guy he make a prime Kostya sweet and win a very close decision, And almost beat Vivian Harris too, all his loses are competitive the second fight with harris was stoped becausse Urkal was swallowing a lot of blood.

Maybe its a sign of things to come ... I respect Cotto ... he a prize fighter who puts his life on the line everytime that he steps into the ring.

He's just not a fighter that alot of you Cotto fans have him cracked up to be.

I think he's good, but never good enough to hang with a prodigy like Mayweather.

Floyd has been around the sport since he was born and been taught by some former prize fighters, one of whom achieved something on the championship level. (Uncle Roger)

He's been under the tutalage of great Michigan trainers and fighters.

Cotto hasn't had the advantages that Floyd has had ... he wasn't a child prodigy in the sport.

From the Amatuers up until now Floyd hasn't been the fighter that everyone expect him to be.

I haven't seen the N'Dou fight since it happened but from what I remember it was more of N'Dou just hanging tough and fighting hard rather than Cotto being rattled or frustrated. Cotto still clearly won that fight.

The Urkal fight was different. Cotto was bothered by the cut and the headbutts more than anything. Cotto knew that he couldn't be hurt by Urkal but I'm sure he didn't expect the guy to hold up to all that punishment either. That in itself may be a little frustrating so add to that the constant fouling and you've got yourself a very understandable recipe for frustration. At least in my opinion.
