Bombs Away. Or... Monster Left Hooks away. That is all. :smoke

War of the Year candidate. For the NABF freakin title mind you, but a war regardless.

Stevens is fighting TBA in April, Lemieux is headlining a card in Montreal in April as well. Might get this fight in the summer.

David has learned not to blow his load early. His fought a great fight vs Torres. Might very well get put down by Stevens but it's worth a shot... I was at the Bell Centre for the Rubio loss, I'll be there if he fights Stevens.

All we need now is an interview with Elvin Ayala on who punches harder. :D

Is this fight actually going to be happening or just being talked about?

If it happens it's a great match-up of two nearly men although Lemieux could still do something in the Middleweight division.

Talked about. The minor title they're gunning for first is the NABF, which has Lemieux and Stevens as top 2 "contenders" for the vacant title. They want to throw Lemieux in a world title shot by the end of the year if he's successful with the step-up (not likely to be the April fight, probably another card he'll be headlining in the summer with Stevens as a strong possibility).

Who knows, HBO liked Stevens going rounds with Golovkin and they were present for the Lemieux-Torres fight on the Bute-Pascal card, just not broadcasting it. Could be part of a split-site broadcast for HBO's BAD.

Stevens' next fight is in Pennsylvania, and Lemieux is headlining in Montreal in April. $2 says the fight will be held in Montreal if it happens.

Lemieux vs Stevens would definately make a great undercard fight for the Cotto-Martinez undercard in NY.

I'm a fan of Lem and hope he can still do something in the Middleweight division.

His loss to Rubio was just down to inexperience and punching himself out trying to get Rubio out early, his loss to Joachim Alcine was far worse in my eyes as Alchine was pretty much past it when he beat Lem.

Anyway Make this fight happen, winner would definately deserve another title shot.

Like Lemieux, I blew my load early upon hearing that this could happen. Would not give two ****s who won. Bombs away.

It's too bad GYM likely can't bring Alcine back to Montreal for a rematch, David was gunshy at times and his punch selection sucked the rest of the time. Alcine now trains in the US and doesn't want to know. Lemieux learned a lot in the Upshaw fight and put it into practice against Torres.
