gary coleman makes me laugh . what can i say...i read about him getting into random fights and the **** is funny to me.
Last I knew he was working as a security guard. Maybe you can get him hired at your office. Unless you need actual security and not laughs. But maybe if Gary trains properly. I secure my place in hell a little more every time I watch this..... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i38X8GA0wAY[/ame]
That's fine. But you said he didn't have a left hook, which is completely inaccurate. He was landing a lot of left hooks all over Paul Williams. Different fighter, different fight, different strategy.
he did land some nice lefts hooks against paul. he didnt have to against kelly...shortest distance between his fist and kelly's face was wide open and he used it.
if kelly shows the limited gameplan he has in the past several fights...its tough to argue with that. if he actually learns from his past mistakes, quits stagnating...or what appears to be stagnating...then this is a better (not easier) style matchup for him. martinez isnt there to be hit. paul is.
The version of Pavlik that fought Martinez (which I happen to think was a very good version of Pavlik) would have beated Williams soundly.
I don't think so. Paul can and does fight a lot more defensively when he is facing taller fighters. The taller the fighter, the more defensively he fights. Margarito is the best example of this. He used his superior speed and stamina to stay his distance and keep moving. If he fought like he did against Margarito, Kelly simply does not have a chance.
The version of Williams that fought any of his 38 opponents turns Pavliks face into Pizza just like Martinez did!!:bbb
i'll tell you this...i'm waiting for the day when paul becomes simply untouchable. he has the ability. someone that tall, w/ that wingspan and reach and his athletic ability....if he can learn to fight tall and develop a stiff jab and control his distance and stay balanced to go along w/ his god given athleticism, nobody will beat him. this should be the case but its not. i really do hope it happens b/c i've always liked paul and it would be pretty cool to see how good he could be if he put everything together. until then, he can still be found. and as many punches as both sergio did and paul will land on kelly, sergio isnt there to be hit in return and paul is. this is the big thing that kelly would have in his favor. if paul could be somewhat elusive, that's another story. but until he shows some elusiveness and is there to be hit, kelly will always be in this fight.
maybe...but as we've seen pav will still be standing. its what happens when pav throws after you've landed. like i just said ^^^ sergio wasnt there and paul is.
^^^^^^ This I said...That is all me!!! But that **** about Pavlik's life taking the same downward spiral as Valero...THAT'S NOT ME!!! I Would never say nor predict that for ANYONE!!!!
Kelly's double jab - straight right doesn't work against Martinez, or any quick fighter. The only time Kelly connected decent was with a straight right (without the jab), or a left hook. He does have a strong left, I just wish he would have used it more. By the time Kelly landed his jab, Martinez was well out of reach for the right. Lead rights is what he needs to do in the rematch.
