Wladimir enters the ring. Shakes hands with AJ, both smiling, both making small talk. Both respecting each other. Both selling the fight, making the incredible crowd cheer. A gentlemen's sport.
AJ sold around 400k in his PPV debut, as a 15:0 fighter. Now he's going to fight living ATG Wladimir Klitschko. In Wembley, in front of 90000 people. This fight is going to be great, especially if Wladimir shows as a different fighter from his previous performances.

Boxing might recover from this disastrous event that Ward vs. Kovalev was. Refusing the handshake, behaving like a diva, not attending press conferences, hugging his opponent to death and refusing to actually fight, still winning an UD despite losing the majority of the rounds and getting knocked down and hurt. Three American judges, in the US, supporting the American fighter. Stil only selling 160000.

The US needs Joshua, to make boxing intresting again, in a country that had potential in the past.

Lol. Everyone knows Kovalev won let it go.

As for Wlad he has always been all about class. A truly great ambassador for the sport and a large reason we see such an influx of Talent from Eastern Europe.
Joshua it must be said has shown to be all class himself so far.
    Two great sportsman

Only if they want to see Joshua beat up Haye. The whole arena booed yesterday when Haye arrived.

Wlad will beat Joshua. And given the chance, Haye would also beat Joshua

After the great weekend of boxing, I all but forgot about you whining Kovalev lovers(Ward haters) and now here you are crying it up again for my entertainment! Thanks!!!

Klitschko is definitely thinking of his legacy. If he can beat AJ then that solidifies his ATG status. AJ wins and he's the #1 heavyweight and everybody has to go through him afterwards. It's a crossroads fight as well but at the highest levels at heavyweight. Pretty easy to sell this fight.

Also boxing fanboys need to stop crying over Ward/Kovalev. Boxing will never die cause the quality of content is just too good, just not predictable.

Europe is now taking over the sport of boxing. American PPV model is dead, Americans don't even follow the sport anymore and have switched over to the UFC, they don't have a solid amateur system and very few elite fighters compared to 10, 20 years ago.

European boxers sell out the arenas and there's a great atmosphere in the crowd, the fights take place in the historic cities with working class population and not in artificial Las Vegas in front of dead silent crowds.

The crowd is an European thing though. People there have heart.

Bring any US boxer for a big fight to Europe and they be like ..

.. getting knocked early, because they are so distracted and shocked by what real atmoshpere means.

This is why I hate European people. The best thing to come out of Germany was Hitler and he failed. The USA should of let him destroyed the whole of Europe.

Wladimir has spend the last 10 years of his career holding on to other men and not wanting to fight but you praise that right?

Joshua is a bum who has yet to fight anybody worth mentioning. The USA has Deontay Wilder a bum who hasn't fought anybody worth mentioning. So the USA doesn't need Joshua. Joshua needs to fight somebody who isn't a tomato can. If he beats Wlad then who would care besides snaggly teeth British morons? Wlad is done. Even at his peak he was lucky to fight in such a joke era for heavyweights.

Americans don't give a damn about boxing any more yet most champions are still Mexican or American. Lol you dumb stupid worthless Euro monkeys finally get a champion after black American males have rule the sport for 60 damn years and you think that prove something? God is Europe trash. I don't see why America deals with you worthless people.

Are you typing that with a straight face ? This is a fighter that is well known for using every dirty trick in the book to gain an advantage. The attempted cheating with the spongy canvas against Fury, the disgusting stinkfest/grabathon against Povetkin in Russia, the list goes on.
Then in the one time in his career he actually had to show some character and grit, bite down on his gumshield and go for it against Fury, he couldn't do it. I guess a decade of bullying smaller guys will do that to you....turn you into a fighter with no heart.
I think he's the kind of role model boxing could do without.
