Torres-Holt was a ****ing awesome fight an all-time great round. Meanwhile UFC hype job Rampage Jackson loses to a reality tv star.
yeah i ordered this mma ... probably wont ever do it again the whole event was bad... the under cards to the main event no doubt mma is cool and all but ill stick wtih boxing
To me, the difference between MMA and boxing is the disparity in skill. Yeah, when you watch the "elite" MMA fighters, they obviously have a high level of skill. They're not just rolling on the ground and looking lost. But the vast majority of MMA guys simply lack the skill level that i want to see and expect as a fan. These are "professionals". But most don't seem to show this level of skill. That's why i appreciate boxing. It's a sport about skill. If you don't know what you're doing, a lesser guy will beat you. So it's not just a wanna be tough guy sport.
EXACTLY...MMA is CRAP...Could you imagine a reality star in Boxing beating the so called best...Imagine Gomez beating Cotto and Manfredo beating Calzaghe...LOL...MMA is for people with A.D.D. it's GARBAGE!
both are good. yes, MMA fighters are all total bums....**** knows how anyone is into watching those slugs fall about.
If real fighting looks like this: This content is protected I'll stick to the Marquess of Queensberry rules. One last thing, I paid for a UFC once but felt like I paid for steak and got Macdonald's. Never again
on the street a mma guy beats the boxer nearly every time. The boxer needs to be a fast handed KO puncher. You see a few faded has beens from boxing going over to mma and getting their asses handed them. Dont do it guys!! Yet the mma guys know they better not crossover into a boxing ring. The fact that theirs loads more $$ in boxing should be enough to tempt them if they think they could compete - but the know full well they've zero chance. Liddel and jackson seem to have very decent punches and some ok looking boxing skills...but they know better than cross over because they know they would only be journeymen in the squared circle.
I prefer boxing obviously but I did keep flicking over to the UFC. I like the way they don't have a multitude of alphabet spurious titles and the best fighters do and will fight each other regularly. The fights themselves for me can be a bit tedious to watch but it's horses for courses.
